Clinical conditions that respond to Homeopathy 

The following list describes some of the ailments that can respond well to homeopathy, in some cases in conjunction with other therapies. 

General conditions:

  • Those for whom there is no known diagnosis, where tests disclose nothing abnormal, but the patient is suffering
  • Those with chronic diseases, especially where there may be poor prognosis without an alternative approach
  • Those for whom drug treatments are poorly tolerated or contra-indicated, for example in pregnancy
  • Those who suffer from repeated episodes of acute illnesses

Specific Conditions:

  • Psychological illnesses such as Anxiety & Panic attacks; Depression; Fears & phobias Grief & Bereavement; Post traumatic Stress; Obsessive disorders; and Nightmares
  • Conditions often thought to have a significant psychosomatic element or aetiology, such as Chronic Headache; Migraine; Colitis; Dyspepsia; Irritable bowel syndrome; Impotence; Insomnia
  • Hormonal imbalances including:  Pre-menstrual syndrome; Menstrual irregularities; Menopausal complaints; Antenatal & Postnatal Issues
  • Illnesses for which conventional therapies have little or nothing to offer
  • For example: Asthma; Eczema; Crohn’s disease; Gout; Urinary Tract Infections; Chronic Dematoses; Allergic Reactions; Respiratory Infections in Children
  • Recent, Occupational or recreational Injury such as Repetitive Strain Injury; Sports Injuries; Tennis Elbow
  • Progressive disorders in which conventional treatments are often high dosage with side-effects including: Osteo Arthritis; Multiple Sclerosis; Rheumatoid Arthritis
